This strategic, high-impact role ensures that the Maybourne master brand and its sub-brands have clearly defined positioning, target customer profiles, a competitive landscape, messaging strategy, and best-in-class digital content. The Director of Brand Marketing leads the development of global, regional, and property-level marketing campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, and preference among target audiences in both established and emerging markets.

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Acting as the brand guardian, overseeing the brand portfolio strategy and ensuring that the business and key partners are informed.
  • Developing global brand marketing strategies to support the brand’s business objectives.
  • Developing and managing the global brand marketing platform to deliver these strategies across all target markets, working with the hotel teams to implement global strategies.
  • Developing a specific, actionable and measurable annual brand marketing communications plan that feeds into the commercial plans for each hotel.
  • Delivering campaigns that maximise frequency and reach to increase brand awareness, preference, and attribute perception.
  • Researching and recommending potential partnership and sponsorship opportunities that support the business objectives.
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to ensure all messaging and content align with the brand platform.
  • Demonstrating a tangible return on investment on all marketing expenditures through pre-agreed KPIs.
  • Collaborating with the wider commercial teams to ensure that the brands are optimised in all promotional campaigns.
  • Providing marketing support to the estate and key openings as directed.
  • Being responsible for the further strategic development of brand assets and brand marketing tools.
  • Briefing and directing agencies as appropriate to ensure that any media buy, sponsorship, partnership and creative executions support the brand positioning.
