We are looking for a National Account Manager to join our UK team to look after our Discounters channel including Aldi, Lidl & TJ Morris.

As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for full P&L ownership across several of our retailers. You will be managing accounts, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement robust commercial plans. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in retail who is eager to further develop their skill set and take on more responsibility. You will also need to be a core advocate for our Mayborn values; proactively turning them into reality within the office environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Creating and developing commercial plans that are aligned to our global & regional strategy
  • Full P&L ownership within our grocery retail channel with key delivery of top-line sales and profit for your categories to accelerate market share
  • Managing relationships and building long-term partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Implementation of the Tommee Tippee strategy across the grocery retail market supported by execution and in-store activation
  • Plan, develop, agree and implement an annual Joint Business Plan with each retailer, activating contingency plans where necessary
  • Agree promotional forecast with Demand Planning to support the achievement of annual promotional plans and objectives
  • Agree monthly promotional plans with customers, including secondary sites, trade marketing collaboration and online support
  • Website and in-store activation audits - developing internal relationships with global & regional digital & marketing teams for imagery, videos ... for launch, or identifying gaps to existing range

What skills and experiences you will need to ace this job:

  • Experience in the account management of discounters retailers (particularly Aldi & Lidl or other discounters) ideally from an FMCG background
  • Experience in customer relationship management skills are essential
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Commercial acumen with strong P&L ownership experience
  • Data driven
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Well organised and able to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills and a sense of fun
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK as required
  • Good with basic Microsoft packages; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
