Are you passionate about retail and ready to take your career to the next level? We have an excellent opportunity available for you to grow your career and make a difference at Mayborn. We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our UK sales team as a Senior National Account Manager (SNAM). In this role, you will be responsible for full P&L ownership across several of our strategic account customers. You will be managing accounts, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement robust commercial plans. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in retail who is eager to further develop their skill set and take on more responsibility.
This role will involve travel within the UK and Ireland
What you will be doing:
- Creating and developing commercials plans that are aligned to our global & regional strategy.
- Managing relationships and building long-term partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Full P&L ownership within our grocery & pharmacy channel with key delivery of top-line sales and profit for your categories to accelerate market share.
- Implementation of the Tommee Tippee strategy across the retail market supported by online execution and in-store activation.
- Plan, develop, agree and implement an annual Joint Business Plan with each retailer, activating contingency plans where necessary.
- Agree promotional forecast with Demand Planning to support the achievement of annual promotional plans and objectives.
- Agree monthly promotional plans with customers, including secondary sites, trade marketing collaboration and online support.
- Collating, probing & integrating data to support your commercial plans.
- Proactively serving up solutions to live challenges.
- Website and in-store activation audits – developing internal relationships with global & regional digital & marketing teams for imagery, videos etc for launch, or identifying gaps to existing range.
- Line management of a National Account Manager.
What skills and experiences you’ll need to ace this job:
- Proven account management or other commercial management experience in the grocery/retail market including one or all of the top four grocery accounts.
- Proven experience in customer relationship management skills are essential, and able to demonstrate the ability and confidence to sell commercial propositions, together with sound negotiation skills.
- Commercial and financial awareness are required along with judgement, and skill to identify, negate and take commercial decisions, often under pressure.
- Successful record of delivering results and continually demonstrating a sense of urgency.
- Strong customer centric focus to identify opportunities, build and translate activity into executable plans.
- Interpersonal skills and high personal credibility is required to build relationships between external customers and internal functions to align both requirements and resolve issues (ability to communicate, present and influence).
- Previous people management experience or a willingness to learn management skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Flexibility to travel within the UK and Ireland as required.
