This role would be ideal for someone with either National Account Management experience or a strong graduate looking to get into a Junior National Account Manager role. This role will be a hybrid role of direct account management for development accounts and support of the UK commercial team by adding value with important day to day activity. The JNAM will be responsible for developing and leveraging personal and interactive skills to create long term commercial relationships. You will be managing accounts, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement robust commercial plans. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to further develop their skill set and take on more responsibility.
What you will be doing:
- Creating and developing commercials plans that are aligned to our global & regional strategy.
- Full P&L ownership within our retail channel with key delivery of top-line sales and profit for your customers to accelerate market share.
- Managing relationships and building long-term partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Implementation of the Tommee Tippee strategy across the retail market supported by execution and in-store activation.
- Plan, develop, agree and implement an annual Joint Business Plan with each retailer, activating contingency plans where necessary.
- Agree promotional forecast with Demand Planning to support the achievement of annual promotional plans and objectives.
- Agree monthly promotional plans with customers, including secondary sites, trade marketing collaboration and online support.
- Collating, probing & integrating data to support your commercial plans.
- Proactively serving up solutions to live challenges.
- Promotional Evaluation Form (PEF) completion & the ‘so what’ on evaluation.
- Account promotional form submission.
- Central UK promotional calendar management.
- Ad hoc reporting using the Insights platform for forecasting, availability, sales and trends data.
- Collaboration with other support functions to resolve issues as directed.
- Website and in-store activation audits – developing internal relationships with global & regional digital & marketing teams for imagery, videos etc for launch, or identifying gaps to existing range.
What skills and experiences you’ll need to ace this job:
- Existing experience of national accounts / Degree in a relevant subject would be advantageous.
- Commercially minded and Data Driven.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and flexibility to travel within the UK as required.
- Well organised and able to multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills and a sense of fun.
- Good with basic Microsoft packages; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
