Here at Mayborn Group, parent company of the award‑winning baby brand Tommee Tippee, we have an exciting opportunity for a Distributor Sales Manager to join us on a permanent basis! We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our fantastic Distributor Markets Business Unit. (The role includes travel to our distributor offices in Europe.)

The Distributor Sales Manager (DSM) will be responsible for the development and growth of the Tommee Tippee brand in a selection of markets through our Distributor partners in various trade channels ranging from Baby Specialist retailers, Mass market, Digital, on all product categories.

As the DSM you will implement the strategy and manage directly the distributor relationships through the establishment of Joint Business Plans and annual negotiations to deliver agreed sales targets. You will be a credible partner to the chosen retailers/distributors and provide the relevant insights and thought leadership to grow the market share of Tommee Tippee.

You will be responsible for implementing through the Distributors the 5P sales initiatives (ranging, placement, pricing, promotion, traffic) across all key retailers (Joint Business Plans) that will drive the growth. You will be required to gather market information and complete market initiatives updates, forecasting and reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis for your markets, as well as conducting specific market analysis.

What you will be doing:

  • The DSM is responsible for a broad range of tasks from day‑to‑day sales activities including forecasting and account administration, to hands‑on account management and development of assigned distributors.
  • Develop, execute and manage the sales plan with existing and future distributors.
  • Complete Joint Business Plans that deliver incremental sales and contribution.
  • Improve distributor sales, margin and contribution.
  • Deliver forecasts, orders, and payments and work with customer service, demand planning and logistics team to execute the plans in line with the S&OP process.
  • Recommend the pricing adaptation per market on a yearly basis based on market and competition.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement the right marketing toolkits with Distributors to execute the brand strategy in line with Group guidelines.
  • Negotiate specific trading terms, promotional strategies, and other activity in line with the strategy.
  • Increase listings, distribution, and visibility of Tommee Tippee brand.
  • Track and monitor the compliance and impact of promotional plans, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
  • Interrogate shopper, retailer, and competitor insights in the region, to identify barriers to consumption and opportunities for category growth.
  • Management of “best in class” execution of all New Product Developments.
  • Share best practices proactively across markets and learnings from other regions.
  • Sell out / Stock/ sell in / trend analysis.
  • SKU level forecasting and SKU level margin analysis.
  • Competitor pricing analysis.
  • Management of budget.
  • Ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • Manage KPIs (stock levels, forecast accuracy, commercial performance).

What skills and experiences you’ll need to ace this job:

  • Experience in managing sales accounts from an FMCG background.
  • Proven experience managing distributors would be a bonus.
  • Educated to degree level – preferably in a commercial discipline.
  • Competent Excel user and good analytical skills.
  • Strong relationship building, collaboration & influencing skills – external and internal clients.
  • Openness and ability to understand different cultures and ways of working.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in an international context.
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written English language (any additional languages are a plus).
  • Entrepreneur attitude, Self‑starter with a positive, resilient ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Team player, sociable, with a sense of fun.
  • Ability to travel as required to complete the job role.
