We have teamed up with an engineering company based in great offices in the South East London area. Our client is one of the UK's leading engineering companies, which operates nationally. Due to growth, they are keen to onboard an experienced Booking Administrator to work within their mobility team. You will be joining a highly successful, family-run business, where the team prides itself on its friendly, welcoming, and supportive environment.

About your new role:

  • Acting as the point of contact between engineers and clients, the Booking Administrator will be responsible for coordinating and booking engineer site visits and updating clients on any issues and/or works.
  • Reporting to the team leader, you will:
  • Book in engineers for planned maintenance and weekly visits to sites, managing their schedules.
  • Liaise regularly with clients to keep them up to date on any issues, planned works, or call outs.
  • Answering the telephones.
  • Update spreadsheets and prepare daily update reports for your designated area.
  • Support the wider team with any additional ad-hoc duties.

About you:

This role is perfect for you if you're a strong Administrator, with excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills. Upon joining the team, you will receive full training on processes and systems used within the business, so previous experience in the industry is not essential. Our client has an excellent reputation in the market, and you will essentially act as an ambassador for them - so a can-do attitude and desire to deliver excellent customer service levels is the key to your success in this role.

As a Booking Administrator you will be:

  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel.
  • A strong communicator - both written and verbal.
  • Proactive and able to use your own initiative.
  • Highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks.
