May Personnel Ltd are searching for new school meal supervisors who are interested in working within a school setting and supervising children during the lunchtime period.

Hours of work: 12:00pm-1:30pm or 11:30am-1:30pm.

Enhanced DBS report and safeguarding awareness certificate required prior to working.

Responsibilities

  • Dining Hall Duties: Setting up tables, organizing dinner queues, and directing students to their seats. You will assist students with opening packaging, cutting up food, encouraging good table manners, and clearing spillages.
  • Playground Supervision: Monitoring indoor or outdoor play to ensure children are safe, engaged, and adhering to school rules. You will help resolve minor conflicts and prevent bullying.
  • Welfare Safety: Administering basic first aid (where trained), dealing with bodily spillages safely, and ensuring children do not leave the school site without permission.
  • Safeguarding: Remaining vigilant to child protection concerns, logging incidents, and immediately reporting them to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
