May Personnel Ltd are looking to hire new cleaners to work in local primary schools within the Middlesex area.
Hours of work: 06:00-08:30am or 3:30-06:00pm.
Enhanced DBS report & Health & Safety Certificate required prior to starting the role.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- General Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Dusting surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
- Sanitation: Scrubbing and disinfecting washrooms, sinks, toilets, and showers. Cleaning high-touch areas like door handles and light switches.
- Waste Management: Emptying, cleaning, and lining rubbish bins and recycling receptacles.
- Restocking: Refilling toiletries (soap, toilet paper, paper towels) and cleaning supplies.
- Compliance: Following health and safety regulations, including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) standards. Using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when appropriate.
- Maintenance: Reporting any maintenance issues, repairs, or hazards to management.
