About the Role: We are looking for an experienced PCI Credit Card Expert with strong knowledge of card payment ecosystems, PCI standards, and regulatory compliance within the banking and payments industry. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in securing cardholder data environments, ensuring compliance with PCI DSS requirements, and supporting strategic initiatives related to payment card processing and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on PCI DSS compliance and best practices.
  • Assess and review card payment environments, processes, and controls.
  • Support PCI audits, assessments, and remediation activities.
  • Collaborate with business, security, risk, and technology teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Identify security gaps and recommend improvements to protect cardholder data.
  • Advise on payment card industry regulations, standards, and emerging trends.
  • Support governance, risk, and compliance initiatives related to payment cards.
  • Prepare documentation, policies, procedures, and compliance reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with PCI DSS frameworks and compliance programs.
  • Strong understanding of the card payments ecosystem (issuing, acquiring, schemes, processors, and merchants).
  • Experience supporting PCI audits and compliance assessments.
  • Knowledge of information security principles and regulatory requirements within financial services.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English.

Nice to Have:

  • PCI QSA, PCIP, CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications.
  • Experience within banking, fintech, payment processors, or card schemes.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and modern payment architectures.
