Hi! At MBC (May Business Consulting) we continue to grow and are looking for two Programme Managers to support a major banking transformation initiative within a leading financial institution.

May Business Consulting is an international consulting firm specialising in digital transformation, change management, efficiency, and control. We work with major banks, financial institutions, fintechs, and startups across Europe, delivering high-impact transformation programmes.

About the Role

We are looking for two senior Programme Managers with strong experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes within major banking institutions, particularly related to payments regulation and transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will lead programme delivery in a complex and highly regulated financial environment, coordinating multiple stakeholders and ensuring effective programme governance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale banking transformation programmes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, operations, and business units.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements within the financial sector.
  • Manage programme timelines, risks, milestones, and governance structures.
  • Act as a key senior stakeholder interface across business and technology teams.
  • Support the implementation of payments-related regulatory or transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of experience in programme or project management within large banking organisations.
  • Strong experience delivering complex transformation programmes in the financial services sector.
  • Experience working in regulated banking environments.

  • Strong programme governance, risk management, and delivery oversight experience.
