Hello! At MBC we continue growing and we are now looking for two Project Managers (one Senior and one Junior) with strong experience in data analysis and data migration projects within the banking sector to join an international financial services project in Milton Keynes.

About The Role
We are looking for one Senior Project Manager and one Junior Project Manager to support and lead migration initiatives such as platform upgrades, system transformations, client onboarding transitions, data movements, and process changes within a banking environment. The selected candidates will contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of data migration and transformation projects, ensuring strong controls, data integrity, and smooth operational delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support or lead data migration and transformation initiatives within the banking sector.
- Coordinate project planning activities, timelines, and task tracking.
- Collaborate with IT, data, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Oversee or support data mapping, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes.
- Track project progress and produce status reports for stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, templates, and migration runbooks.
- Support or lead UAT cycles, prepare test cases, and document results.
- Conduct post‐migration validation and reconciliation tasks.
- Maintain issue and risk logs and escalate risks when required.
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, internal controls, and data security standards.
Requirements
- Junior profile: 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, data analysis, or migration projects within financial services.
- Senior profile: 5+ years of experience managing data migration or transformation projects within the banking sector.
- Experience working with structured data, validation processes, and migration activities.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Experience working with cross‐functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in fast‐paced environments with evolving priorities.
- University degree or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Power BI.
- Experience with banking platforms, ERP systems, or CRM tools (SAP, IT2, Salesforce).
- Experience working on international projects or in consulting environments.
