About The Role
We are looking for a Program Manager with strong experience leading technology transformation programmes in the banking sector, especially around core banking and payments architecture. You will lead the delivery of a 12‑month core banking migration to replace the current platform (Finova) before its expiry in June 2027.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of the end‑to‑end core banking migration programme.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams in a regulated financial environment.
- Manage programme budget, risks, milestones, and timelines.
- Act as the key point of contact for C‑level stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure delivery avoids past integration mistakes and meets quality expectations.
Requirements
- 14+ years of experience in transformation delivery and programme management.
- Strong supplier management background: driving vendors to delivery plans, managing interdependencies, and owning scope/output to ensure agreed programme outcomes are delivered.
- Deep knowledge of payments systems (SWIFT, SEPA, CHAPS, FPS, etc.).
- Solid understanding of core banking architecture and cloud environments.
- Experience in wholesale and retail banking transformation projects.
- Professional certifications: Prince2, Agile, ITIL.
- Strong experience working with FCA, PRA.
