Overview
Graphic Designer - Toys & Consumer Products for YuMe Toys (part of the Maxx Group). On-site four days per week in London (Monday to Thursday). Reports to the Creative Director and collaborates with local and international account, brand, and creative teams to develop a wide range of designs from concept to final artwork. Experience with licensed consumer products, toys, packaging, and POP/POS design is a plus. Strong interest in entertainment/gaming properties, anime, and awareness of upcoming trends are desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and upkeeping YuMe pitch presentations and product catalogues
- Designing Global Exhibition materials for YuMe for events in Nuremberg, LA, New York, etc.
- Designing Social Media assets to promote YuMe
- Creating and designing advertising and marketing materials such as publication ads for journals and leading toy magazines globally
Qualifications
- Degree in graphic design, visual arts or related disciplines
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Knowledge of the printing process and colours (Pantone/CMYK/RGB)
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and graphic design
- Ability to handle several projects at once
- Enthusiastic with lots of ideas and a dedication to quality work
- Toy, retail, brand loyalty, and shopper marketing experience is a big plus
