Are you outgoing, energetic, and love working with people? We’re looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager to help lead the Maxwell’s team – if this sounds like you then we want to hear from you!
Maxwell’s Bar and Grill is a busy American-style restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden, famous for our burgers, ribs and legendary shakes. We pride ourselves on great food, good vibes, and a fantastic family team atmosphere for both our guests and staff.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll be a key presence right on the restaurant floor, leading from the front during service, supporting the FOH team, and being actively involved in the day-to-day running of a high-energy venue. This is a role for someone who loves being guest-facing, thrives in the buzz of a busy shift, and enjoys working hands-on with a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage the front-of-house team, ensuring exceptional service standards.
- Support recruitment and training, whilst managing performance and fostering a positive, upbeat team culture.
- Keep service running smoothly during busy periods, especially weekends and evenings, maintaining company standards.
- Deliver outstanding hospitality, engaging with guests and confidently handling any escalated issues.
