Working closely with senior leadership, you will help shape the estates strategy, drive continuous improvement and ensure facilities services support the wider organisation.

- Take responsibility for statutory compliance, including fire safety, asbestos, legionella, gas, electrical safety and other essential inspections.
- Develop and oversee planned preventative maintenance programmes, alongside reactive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Manage cleaning, grounds maintenance, security, waste management and other facilities services.
- Provide advice and guidance to senior leaders on estates, compliance and health and safety matters.
- Support long-term estate planning, capital investment priorities and the delivery of maintenance projects.
- Manage contractors and service providers, including procurement, quotations, RAMS, performance and value for money.
- Monitor facilities budgets, expenditure and financial reporting.
- Lead and develop the facilities team, supporting performance, training and professional development.
- Maintain a positive health and safety culture, undertaking inspections, audits and incident investigations.
- Contribute to business continuity and emergency planning arrangements.

You will have:

- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and respond calmly to emergencies.
- A professional, approachable and flexible attitude, with a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
Experience within education, the public sector or a multi-site environment would be beneficial.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Level 3 Health & Safety qualification.
