General Manager
Are you an experienced and proactive General Manager with a passion for premium property management?
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled leader to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of a prestigious skyscraper. This role offers the chance to take full ownership of day-to-day management, drive service excellence, and build strong relationships with customers (tenants), contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Maintain exceptional tenant relationships, ensuring all services meet the highest standards.
- Oversee building operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage service charge budgets exceeding £2M, ensuring financial control and cost efficiency.
- Drive sustainability initiatives and energy management strategies.
- Handle leasing matters, contract management, and business continuity planning.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations while proactively addressing any challenges.
About You:
- IOSH Managing Safely (within the last five years) and BIFM Level 4/5 qualification.
- A minimum of four years’ experience managing premium commercial assets.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of contract management, leasing practices, and compliance regulations.
- Demonstrable experience in service charge budget management.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate complex situations.
- Strong understanding of commercial office and retail fit-outs, building systems, and sustainability initiatives.
