Maxwell Stephens have been appointed by our client to find a Facilities & Fabric Manager who can take ownership of building fabric, soft services and day-to-day facilities delivery across a significant estate.
The Opportunity
- Lead fabric maintenance, PPM, cyclical works and reactive repairs
- Manage soft services including cleaning, security, waste and pest control
- Protect historic interiors and support conservation-led maintenance
- Oversee caretaking and handyperson teams
- Maintain visitor facilities to exceptional standards
- Support exhibitions, events and commercial hires
- Drive sustainability, waste reduction and environmental good practice
- Ensure health, safety, fire and accessibility compliance across the estate
You will play a key on-the-ground role in ensuring the estate is safe, presentable, compliant.
About You
- Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance across multi-site or complex estates
- Strong knowledge of building fabric, soft services and PPM planning
- Confidence managing contractors and supervising site teams
- A proactive, organised, solutions-focused mindset
- Solid understanding of H&S, compliance, inspections and risk management
- A genuine commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement
