This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Administration Assistant to work across key business functions including HR and marketing whilst undertaking an apprenticeship qualification. You will work closely with the Head of HR on several tasks relating to recruitment and staff inductions, engagement and wellbeing, and training and development. In addition to this, you will assist the Marketing Team to create online content and carry out research. We are therefore seeking someone who is creative and proactive with a strong interest in business operations.

Main Duties:
- Managing and responding to work experience enquiries.
- Liaising with recruitment agents about current vacancies.
- Drafting job adverts.
- Sorting welcome packs for work experience students and new staff.
- Requesting employment/character references.
- Attending Team meetings and preparing minutes.
- Producing content for social media and the website.
- Assisting with the People and Wellbeing strategy.
- Organising first aid and fire marshal training.
- Booking training courses/seminars for staff and processing evaluation forms after their attendance.
- Assisting with health and safety reviews.
- Conduct research, including community research for the Marketing Team to keep up to date with community events.
- Assisting with corporate social responsibility by looking at green initiatives to introduce across the company.
- Sourcing eco-friendly promo items.
Salary and Holidays:
The salary for this role is between £15,000 and £24,000 per annum. Annual holiday entitlement in a full calendar year is 20 days, increasing yearly to 25 days by 5 years’ service. This is in addition to bank holidays and an extra 3 days to be used between Christmas and New Year.
