Maxwell Consultancy are working closely with an established Machine shop in Ayrshire who require CNC Machinists - Mazak Integrex. These are full time, permanent positions working in their state of the art workshop. The business is going from strength to strength, buying new hi-tech CNC machinery making vital components for the Oil & Gas & Aerospace industries.

What's required?

  • Time served CNC Machinist or extensive experience as CNC Machinist
  • Read and interpret schematic engineer drawings
  • Mazak Integrex experience (various models)
  • Setting and operating
  • Programming & Setup - Translate engineering drawings into precise programs, set cutting speeds, and adjust tool offsets.
  • Machine Operation - Load raw materials, operate multi-axis Integrex machines and monitor machining operations.
  • Quality Control - Inspect finished parts using micrometers, callipers, and CMM equipment to ensure they meet exact specifications.
  • Maintenance - Perform routine troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and keep the work area clean and safe.
  • Collaboration - Work with engineers to optimise production processes and reduce material waste.
  • Working towards continuous improvement methods within the workshop
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
  • Plenty of overtime at enhanced rates - x 2
