As a QA Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring that materials, components, and finished products meet required quality standards and specifications. You will support the delivery of high‐quality, compliant products by carrying out precise inspections, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in‐process and final inspections on mechanical and manufactured components.
  • Use a range of precision measuring equipment, including callipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards accurately.
  • Record inspection results clearly and maintain comprehensive QA documentation.
  • Identify and report non‐conformities, supporting root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Assist with internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements and company procedures.
  • Carry out additional duties relevant to the role as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience working as a QA/QC Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Time‐served apprenticeship or equivalent experience is desirable.
  • Solid understanding of inspection methods, measurement tools, and quality control processes.
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
