Purpose of Role
Responsible for the finishing and preparation of metal components by removing burrs, sharp edges, and other imperfections using a variety of hand and power tools. To ensure parts meet quality standards and customer specifications prior to final assembly or shipping.

Standard working hours, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, and other surface defects.
- Operate deburring tools such as hand files, sanders, grinders and rotary tools.
- Follow blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure precise finishes.
- Use microscopes or magnifiers for detailed deburring work when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area and equipment.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Educated to standard grade level.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Must be health & safety conscious.
- Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components (desirable).
- Deburring experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Rate: £15.24 per hour

Schedule: Early shift Mon to Thurs, 6 am - 2.30 pm & Friday, 6 am - 11 am / Day shift Monday to Friday 37 hours per week.
