Maxwell Consultancy are working closely with a market leader in Aerospace & Defence in their search for CNC Millers. The business has been expanding in recent times with these newly created permanent, full time roles. The successful candidate will preferably have experience with 4,5 axis and or Mill/Turn machines. Fantastic opportunity to join an established machine shop as it continues to grow its workforce.
What’s required?
- Time served CNC Machinist
- Setting and operating various multi axis CNC machines.
- 4 axis, 5 axis and Mill/Turn
- Ability to read and interpret schematic engineer drawings
- Inspect parts using CMM and other inspection equipment to ensure compliance with drawings.
- Adhere to company standards and safety procedure at all times
- Maintain an accurate log of any production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs.
- Maximise machine uptime through preventative measures (TPM).
- Safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machinery
- Flexibility to support production requirements
- Work as part of a close knit team
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing tight tolerance, high-quality work that is manufactured to closely controlled specifications (Defence and Aerospace requirements).
What to expect?
- Full time, permanent position
- 37 hour working week
- Working hours are Monday to Friday - early, back and nights rotation
- £26.87 per hour for working all shifts
- Full training to carry out the role efficiently and effectively
