Maxwell Consultancy have opportunities for CNC Millers and Turners in Glasgow working for a market leader in precision engineering. These are full time, permanent positions based in their state of the art workshop. Working a 4 day week from Monday to Thursday with Fridays off. The company have been going from strength to strength in recent times with an extremely healthy order book. What\’s required? * Time served CNC Machinist or vast experience working as CNC Machinist * Setting and operating either machining centres, mills or lathes * Produce right first-time components, from customer’s drawings, to required cycle times * Maintain a cost-effective standard of production * Work towards continuous improvement methods within the workshop * Experience with FANUC or Siemens controls desirable but not essential * Programming completed offline in the office * Adhere to health and safety regulations in the workshop at all times * Rotating 2 weeks between day shift (£19.50 per hour) and night shift (£26 per hour).
