A leading UK Learning & Development provider is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead and grow a portfolio of high-value customer accounts. This is a strategic role for an experienced account professional with a strong understanding of consultative, solutions-based selling in the L&D space.
The Role
- You will own a portfolio of established Learning & Development clients, balancing active and dormant accounts, with a focus on increasing share of wallet, expanding training solutions, and strengthening long-term partnerships.
- You’ll also act as a role model and senior presence within the account management function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead senior stakeholder relationships across key Learning & Development accounts
- Drive revenue growth through account expansion, cross-sell, and upsell activity
- Re-engage dormant clients and uncover new learning opportunities
- Build and deliver strategic account plans
- Lead high-level client meetings and commercial discussions
- Prepare and present high-quality proposals and solutions
- Use CRM data and market insight to prioritise pipeline activity
- Collaborate with delivery, finance, bids, and operational teams
- Act as a mentor and role model within the wider team
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Account Manager or similar role in Learning & Development, training, or professional services
- Strong track record of delivering revenue growth across complex accounts
- Experience selling services or solutions (not products)
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders
- Strategic, commercially astute, and data-driven
