You will help shape how both are used together to deliver real business value - you don't need to have prior hands-on experience with Fabric.

What you will do:

  • Build and optimise automated data pipelines using SQL, Spark, and Python.
  • Develop feature pipelines to support machine learning use cases.
  • Set up CI/CD for data pipelines, models, and analytics assets.
  • Monitor performance, control costs, and improve reliability of pipelines.
  • Support enterprise reporting platforms. Improve data models, performance, and refresh cycles.
  • Build governed semantic layers and reusable data products.
  • Enable data science teams. Provide environments, tooling, and secure access to data.
  • Support model deployment, monitoring, and integration into production systems.
  • Integrate AI and machine learning services into data products, with a strong focus on Fabric-native capabilities.
  • Embed data quality, lineage, and documentation across all assets.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Lead and mentor data engineers. Raise capability across the team.

What you bring:

  • Strong experience building modern data platforms in a cloud environment.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, Python, and Spark.
  • Experience with data modelling, ETL and ELT design, and pipeline orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD for data and analytics workflows.
  • Exposure to AI and machine learning platforms and integration.
  • Experience with real-time or streaming data pipelines.
  • Strong experience with enterprise BI tools and semantic modelling.
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
  • Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, security, and access control.
  • Strong communication skills. You explain complex topics in a clear way.

What you are like:

  • You think in systems and solve problems with an engineering mindset.
  • You take ownership and manage priorities well.
  • You work well with both technical and business teams.
  • You focus on continuous improvement.
  • You deliver work to a high standard and on time.

What you get:
