Overview
We’re representing a highly accredited UK cybersecurity consultancy, seeking a Security Assurance Coordinator (SAC) to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting security assurance activities across a range of client projects and services — ensuring all legal, regulatory, and contractual security requirements are effectively met.

Key Responsibilities
- Security Accreditation: Support accreditation and assurance processes for systems and services.
- Risk Management: Oversee and manage risks within the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and contribute to improving overall security posture.
- Compliance & Auditing: Conduct and coordinate audits, track compliance status, and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
- Information Governance: Manage governance processes, including service assessments and compliance reporting.
- Supplier Assurance: Conduct and coordinate assurance reviews with third-party suppliers and partners.
- Security Awareness: Contribute to security training, awareness initiatives, and knowledge sharing across the organisation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand requirements, manage expectations, and promote best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to support collective decision-making and ensure successful delivery of security objectives.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in assurance, risk management, or information security.
- Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management methodologies.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF), or similar standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report and policy writing.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Exposure to compliance tools, audit management platforms, or control frameworks.
- Understanding of GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, or other relevant legislation.
- Degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP.
