An exceptional opportunity for an experienced commercial leader to join one of the UK’s most established and high-performing businesses within the contractor solutions/payroll sector. We are recruiting for a UK Sales Director to oversee a nationally established key accounts function, leading a team responsible for managing some of the largest recruitment agency relationships in the market.
This is not a turnaround role or a “build from scratch” environment. The business is already recognised as a market leader, with a high-performing commercial function, strong agency relationships and significant market growth over recent years.
The successful candidate will inherit an experienced team of Key Account Directors across London, Manchester and Scotland, with responsibility for driving performance, maintaining growth, supporting strategic relationships and ensuring operational/commercial excellence across the division.
The Role:- Leading and supporting a team of Key Account Directors across the UK
- Overseeing relationships with major recruitment agency accounts and strategic partners
- Driving revenue performance, growth and commercial consistency across the division
- Supporting the management of MSP and key strategic relationships
- Maintaining a high-performance culture across an already successful commercial team
- Working closely with senior leadership on overall UK commercial strategy
- Attending senior-level client meetings, presentations and commercial discussions
- Proven experience operating at Sales Director / Commercial Director level
- Strong background within umbrella, payroll, contractor solutions, recruitment services or a related sector
- Experience managing senior commercial/account management teams
- Strong operational and strategic leadership capability
- Highly credible communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead experienced, high-performing individuals effectively
- Umbrella / contractor solutions sales leaders
- Recruitment sector suppliers / RecTech commercial leaders
- Payroll, compliance or insurance sales directors selling into recruitment
