We’re partnering with a globally recognised technology business to hire a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to play a key role within their growing SRE function. This team sits at the heart of the organisation’s platform and product reliability strategy, supporting large-scale systems across AI, Cloud, Security, and Software Engineering.
As a Lead SRE, you’ll work on complex, business-critical cloud platforms while helping shape engineering standards, reliability practices, and team capability. You’ll also mentor and support engineers, driving best practices across infrastructure, automation, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and delivering large-scale AWS cloud and reliability projects
- Driving SRE best practices across performance, scalability, and resilience
- Mentoring and coaching engineers within the team
- Collaborating with engineering and platform teams across AI, Security, and Software
- Improving automation, observability, and infrastructure reliability
- Supporting a strong engineering culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement
This will be perfect for someone with strong AWS and Terraform experience, alongside hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux, and scripting with Bash or Python. A software engineering background with Go or JavaScript would be highly beneficial, as well as previous experience leading or mentoring engineers within modern cloud or platform environments.
