We’re partnering with a global software consultancy as they expand into the UK, following the award of a major multi-year programme with a UK Defence client. This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground level of their UK growth, playing a key role in delivering and supporting a high-profile, security‑critical platform.
The Role
As their Senior Application Support & DevOps Engineer, you’ll act as the UK-based technical lead, owning live production systems and working directly with clients in a secure, high‑stakes environment. You’ll be hands‑on across incident management, system reliability, and DevOps improvements, collaborating closely with global engineering teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and support UK-hosted production systems in a secure environment
- Act as the primary UK technical contact for clients
- Deliver L2/L3 support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Lead incident response and manage live production issues
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and operational processes
- Work closely with offshore Dev & QA teams to resolve issues and drive improvements
