A growing technology consultancy/MSP is looking to hire an experienced Identity Consultant to join its expanding security and identity practice. This is a client-facing delivery role focused on Microsoft identity technologies, supporting customers with modern identity, access management, and automation projects across hybrid and cloud environments. The role will suit someone with a consultancy background who is comfortable working directly with customers, delivering technical solutions, and supporting identity transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Microsoft identity and access management solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Implement and support Microsoft Entra and Active Directory technologies.
  • Configure identity governance, provisioning, and lifecycle management solutions.
  • Support automation and integration work using scripting and workflow tools.
  • Participate in client workshops, technical discussions, and solution delivery.
  • Troubleshoot identity and access-related issues across hybrid environments.
  • Produce technical documentation and handover materials.

Required Experience

  • Strong experience with Microsoft identity technologies.
  • Good understanding of: Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Identity Governance / IAM, Provisioning and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell preferred).
  • Consultancy or client-facing delivery experience.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with Microsoft security technologies.
  • Exposure to API integrations or workflow automation tools.
  • Microsoft certifications beneficial but not essential.
