We have teamed up with a digital agency based in the North West of England, delivering innovative digital solutions for a diverse range of clients. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a Systems Administrator to join their team in Lancaster/Manchester! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Linux and Azure Cloud skills who is looking to progress their career, with clear support and development pathways in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux-based systems
- Supporting the daily management and optimisation of client cloud environments, primarily within Azure
- Supporting Linux and Plesk hosting environments to ensure stability, security, and optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and network issues
- Providing out-of-hours support as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Linux
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud
- Good understanding of networking principles
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to external clients
