Security Architect
We’re looking for a Security Architect to join a prestigious Manchester based organisation. The role will be involved in a wide range of projects across the organisation taking ownership of security for systems and solutions in the design, implementation and transition stages.
You will help to drive the direction of security within the organisation and best practises, being a key member of the Cyber Security team. For this role, we can offer flexible hybrid working (1/2 days a week in the office) and an excellent holiday scheme (you could take up to 50 holidays per year).
Considerable experience of working in a cyber security or equivalent role.
Knowledge of IT security best practice principles such as Zero Trust
Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and secure network architecture.
Strong knowledge of authentication, authorisation, and access control methods, as well as best practices for managing user access to systems and data.
Familiarity with encryption algorithms, key management, and secure data transmission and storage.
Business awareness in relation to availability, capacity, security, and maintainability of an organisation’s IT systems.
