Infrastructure Technician

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Location: Hull - Onsite working

Applicants must hold a current, valid driver's licence.

Maxwell Bond have partnered with a leading UK manufacturing organisation, who are looking for an Infrastructure Technician on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity if you're looking to join a collaborative team and progress your career, with clear career paths and progression in place.

You'll provide second/third line support to the business, resolving escalated incidents and requests, whilst supporting a range of digital platforms and systems.

What You’ll Do as Infrastructure Technician:

  • Support and maintain the existing infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft server technologies and platform stability.
  • Manage and support on-prem datacentre infrastructures, including VMWare, SAN Storage, and backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Enhance core network infrastructure, including firewalls, switching and wireless technologies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a technical 2nd / 3rd support role, supporting 1000+ Microsoft 365 & AD users.
  • Strong experience with core Microsoft Servers and Cloud Solutions, with exposure VMWare and SAN equipment.
  • Experience working with LAN/WAN and Firewall Technologies, is preferred.
