We’re supporting a global SaaS-based company who are on the front of innovation in the financial technology space. Their product is disrupting the status quo and bringing innovative solutions to businesses and consumers as well as transforming the way businesses and consumers engage with their financial ecosystems.

- Lead the Solution Consulting team through the transformation to become product first & work closely with Product & Sales Leadership across the business.
As the Head of Sales Engineering, you will be a key member leading the transition from a traditional sales team & set-up to becoming a product-first sales function. As an organisation, they want to build the product to the customer need creating the bespoke & tailor-made experience. With a product vision and strategy in place, you’ll be supporting the mindset change into a sales Engineer mindset and helping launch new products in a different way.
In this role you’ll be managing a global team of 7 and report into the Chief Product Officer, sitting under the product function. You’ll be working closely with other teams ensuring the sales pitches represents the product, there is a uniformity of messages being presented & growing the team. You’ll be leading in demos, representing the brand at events and play a pivotal part in the company’s future growth.
To be successful as the Head of Sales Engineering all you need to have is;
- Sales lifecycle experience – knows good sales processes, understand the commercial element and can lead from the front.
- Extensive experience working in a SaaS environment that is a product first organisation or are already undertaking that transition.
- Team management experience – ideally globally.
- Demonstrable experience going through the growth phase within a company that is in scale-up mode and have the battle scars of what went right and wrong.
You need to have gravitas and be able to lead the room with global enterprise companies with the resilience and perseverance. It’s a role you need to be in it for the long haul and you’ll be working on a BRAND-NEW product; so it’s going to take to make it great!
