A fast-paced, multi-skilled UK business is on the lookout for a Head of Business Systems – a newly created role reporting directly to the CIO.
This is your chance to step into a visible, high-impact position where you’ll drive the strategic roadmap, lead major system implementations (think ERP, CRM, HRIS etc), and oversee a growing delivery team – all while keeping stakeholders aligned and delivery on track.
You’ll be the glue between tech and the wider business, translating business needs into robust, scalable, secure system solutions. You’ll coach, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, analysts, and specialists – embedding delivery frameworks and pushing performance across a broad portfolio of IT change projects.
And yes – this is a delivery-focused leadership role. We want someone who\’s hands-on with governance, confident talking architecture, and comfortable leading a team through complex cross-functional programmes. You’ll be shaping the division\’s systems landscape in a business that genuinely values tech and transformation.
What you’ll need to bring to the table:
- 3+ years in a business systems or delivery leadership role
- Strong knowledge of core business platforms (ERP/CRM), ideally SAP or Salesforce
- Proven experience managing large IT change or transformation projects
- A people-first leadership style, and the confidence to influence across all levels
- Familiarity with Agile/Prince2/DevOps delivery methodologies
Nice to have (but not deal breakers):
- Experience working in regulated or complex business environments
- Good understanding of compliance, vendor management, and risk
