A growing HR technology and services organisation is seeking an experienced Sales Leader to lead its Software & Services sales function. This is a hands-on player-manager role, responsible for leading a team of 7-8 sales professionals while also actively contributing to revenue growth and closing strategic opportunities. You will be accountable for delivering a £4m ARR team target, with bonus linked to overall team performance (no individual quota).
The Role
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and manage a team of BDMs and SDRs with mixed levels of experience.
- Provide structured coaching and development, particularly for more junior team members.
- Build cohesion and accountability across a geographically dispersed team.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, forecasting and performance management.
- Create a high-performance but supportive sales culture.
- Oversee day-to-day sales activity and performance standards.
