We’re supporting a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) in London in their search for a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join their expanding security function. This is a hands‑on, client-facing role focused on securing multi‑client environments across network, endpoint, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security solutions (firewalls, EDR, cloud security controls)
  • Lead incident response, investigation, and remediation
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and drive risk mitigation
  • Manage SIEM and security monitoring tools
  • Advise clients on best practices and compliance (Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)

Experience Required

  • Strong firewall experience (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
  • EDR & endpoint security (Microsoft Defender, Sophos, etc.)
  • Network security (VLANs, VPNs, TCP/IP, DNS)
  • Azure and/or AWS security configuration
  • Incident response and vulnerability management experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced MSP environment
