Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Quality Specialist to lead the development and implementation of enterprise data quality standards. You will own the monitoring framework, continuously refine validation rules, and drive improvements that ensure data is accurate, reliable, and adds business value. This is a strategic, hands‑on role focused on establishing long‑term data quality practices rather than day‑to‑day analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement enterprise data quality standards, metrics, and validation rules.
  • Maintain and refine the data quality monitoring framework across systems and processes.
  • Identify data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Develop and deliver data quality strategy and initiatives, translating them into actionable outcomes.
  • Work with business teams, including customer contact centres, to improve data capture, reduce anomalies, and ensure data is trustworthy.
  • Train and support data stewards and teams in maintaining high data quality standards.
  • Advise on metrics that measure the commercial and operational impact of data quality improvements.
  • Promote process improvement and automation in data cleansing and validation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in data quality management or analysis.
  • Strong technical skills, including SQL; programming knowledge a plus.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data quality tools.
  • Experience defining and implementing data quality metrics and monitoring frameworks.
  • Proven ability to translate data quality initiatives into measurable business value.
  • Commercially minded with a focus on reducing repetition and anomalies, ensuring trustworthy data.
  • Strong process improvement mindset, inquisitive and proactive.
  • Relevant degree in data science, computer science, or related field.
