Maxwell Bond are helping a well established SME find an experienced CIO who is a senior technology leader used to working within the C-Suite, to help drive the next phase of technology, systems and transformation maturity across the business. This is a highly visible leadership role where you’ll work closely with the CEO, board and senior leadership team to modernise technology capability, improve business engagement, and ensure technology becomes a true enabler to the wider organisation.

The environment is more SME/mid-market than enterprise, so this role requires somebody commercially minded, pragmatic and hands-on in their approach to transformation and stakeholder management. There isn't an unlimited budget so understanding how to work with the framework and utilise 3rd parties like Salesforce or near shore partners is essential; soft skills are essential.

The CIO Experience we’re looking for:

  • Senior IT leadership experience (CIO, CTO, Head of IT or similar)
  • Experience operating within SME or mid-sized organisations
  • Strong soft skills across relationship building, peers and stakeholders at C-Suite
  • Background managing third-party suppliers and delivery partners
  • Highly Desirable: Salesforce and/or broader ERP transformation exposure
  • Experience working with outsourced or nearshore delivery models
