I'm currently working with an award-winning commercial energy supplier that's looking to add a Business Development Executive to its commercial team.
This isn't your typical Business Development role.
This isn't a role where you'll spend every day behind a desk making cold calls.
Instead, you'll work alongside an experienced Business Development Manager, learning how to build and grow long‑term relationships with energy brokers.
A major part of the role involves attending face‑to‑face meetings, networking events and client hospitality, with recent events including Formula 1 at Silverstone and England's Test Match at The Oval
As your experience grows, you'll begin managing your own relationships and representing the business at these events, with a clear pathway into a Business Development Manager position within 18‑24 months.

Responsibilities
- Build and develop relationships with energy brokers across the UK
- Support an experienced Business Development Manager with an established portfolio
- Learn the commercial energy market, products and internal systems
- Gradually take ownership of your own portfolio as your experience grows
- Attend networking events and hospitality days
- Respond to broker enquiries and provide excellent ongoing account support
- Maintain accurate CRM records and customer information
- Identify opportunities to strengthen existing broker relationships
