Fixed‑Term Contract until April 2027 | Immediate Start | Up to £45,000

I'm currently working with a highly respected ISP/MSP business that is looking to bring in an experienced Cloud Support Engineer on a fixed‑term basis through to April 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a technically strong cloud infrastructure team during a significant platform transformation project. You'll play a key role supporting a VMware‑based cloud environment and a range of hosted infrastructure and cloud services, troubleshooting complex technical issues and ensuring customers receive a high standard of support. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working across Microsoft and Linux technologies within virtualised environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience supporting Windows Server 2012 and above
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange, IIS, Active Directory and Microsoft 365
  • Experience using PowerShell to administer and support customer environments
  • Experience with VMware‑based infrastructure and virtualisation technologies
  • Experience managing and maintaining Veeam backup solutions
  • Knowledge of Linux administration, including shell commands and basic scripting
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer‑facing support skills
