We're partnering with a fast-growing SaaS marketplace in the Sport & Events industry. As the platform continues to scale, they're looking for a Software Architect to own the evolution of their AWS-based platform and help shape how both engineers and AI agents build software across the business.

What they're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Software Architect, Principal Engineer, or Lead Engineer, with a track record of designing and evolving scalable backend platforms
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript, modern backend architectures, and AWS services including ECS, Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, CloudFront, and Lambda
  • Deep understanding of high-volume data access patterns, including caching, read replicas, partitioning, and datastore selection
  • Experience defining architectural standards, governance, and engineering guardrails that scale across teams
  • Ability to lead solution design, shape technical direction, and maintain clean, scalable system boundaries as platforms grow
  • Interest in AI-assisted development and helping establish safe, effective practices for agentic software delivery
