We’re looking for a passionate Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing security team within a technology-led organisation. This is a hands-on role combining security operations and engineering, focused on improving and protecting both on-prem and cloud environments.

This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys cyber security, likes keeping up with emerging threats and technologies, and is motivated by continuous learning and development. You’ll work closely with Security and IT teams, taking ownership of security tooling, incident response, and ongoing improvements across the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain security tools and technologies across the business
  • Investigate and respond to security events and incidents alongside a Managed SOC
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and security control gaps
  • Support ongoing improvements to security processes, standards, and best practices
  • Maintain security documentation, procedures, and configurations
  • Stay up to date with emerging threats and technologies to help strengthen the security posture
  • Work closely with internal teams to support security awareness and operational excellence
What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience within an IT or cyber security-focused role
  • Knowledge of technologies such as NGFW, WAF, EDR, and SIEM
