AI Architect Consultant | 6 month | Remote | Outside IR35
We are seeking a highly experienced AI Architect Consultant to lead the strategic development and implementation of AI initiatives across a complex engineering-focused organization. This is a hands-on, leadership role requiring a confident expert who can assess current capabilities, shape a practical AI roadmap, and drive meaningful change across business and R&D functions.
Ky details:
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current AI and data capabilities across technical and business units.
- Design and lead the development of a forward-looking AI strategy aligned with business objectives and operational constraints.
- Serve as an AI leader, engaging with stakeholders across engineering, finance, and R&D to influence and guide adoption.
- Bridge communication between technical teams and leadership to ensure alignment, transparency, and execution of the AI strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an AI Architect or Consultant in a leadership or advisory capacity.
- Hands-on expertise in AI solution design, including use of LLMs, ML pipelines, and emerging AI tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at senior levels (references may be requested).
- Experience working in engineering-driven environments, with a deep understanding of R&D dynamics.
- Ability to drive transformation in organizations resistant to change, particularly in finance and operational departments.
- Comfortable working in a flexible, autonomous consulting capacity
