I'm currently working with a well-established and fast-growing Managed Service Provider that’s looking to bring a skilled 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer into their team. This client supports a wide range of businesses across various sectors and is known for delivering first-class IT solutions — from cloud services to on-site support. This role offers 1-2 days at home per week on a hybrid basis.

They’re after someone who’s confident tackling technical issues up to a third-line level, with experience spanning desktop support, cloud technologies, and network troubleshooting. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where no two days are the same, and where your ideas will be valued.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as a key point of contact for escalated IT issues – both remote and on-site.
  • Supporting users across Windows and Mac environments.
  • Solid experience with Intune/Mobile Device Management/Sharepoint.
  • Managing and maintaining client infrastructure, including Windows Server, AD, and cloud platforms.
  • Investigating and resolving network and connectivity issues (LAN/WAN).
  • Working with tools like Azure AD, and AWS to help clients make the most of cloud technologies.
  • Creating security reports and technical documentation for stakeholders.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

What They’re Looking For

  • Solid experience across Windows 7–11, Windows Server (2008–2025), and macOS.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 stack.
  • Knowledge of cloud services – particularly Azure, Intune, and ideally AWS.
  • Background in MSP environments – you know how to juggle priorities and keep calm under pressure.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualisation (Hyper-V and/or VMware).
  • Bonus if you’ve got Cisco exposure or Microsoft certifications (MS-100/101).

What’s in It for You?

  • Opportunity to grow within a forward-thinking MSP that invests in its people.
  • Exposure to a wide range of technologies and client environments.
  • A supportive team culture with plenty of room to take initiative.
  • Training support for certifications and future progression.
