This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver and make a difference online. We are looking for people who are based near one of our delivery locations in Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, West Midlands, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and London. Primarily, delivery times will be between 5pm – 9pm, so you must feel comfortable working during these hours.

The Specialist Health & Wellbeing Coach offers tailored diet, nutrition, and behaviour change advice to adults, children, and families to manage weight and improve health and wellbeing. Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based services via one-to-one and group sessions, supporting participants to set and achieve goals, and ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting recruitment and assessment of participants
  • Conducting lifestyle behaviour change sessions (virtual or face-to-face)
  • Applying motivational interviewing and goal setting techniques
  • Signposting to other health services as needed
  • Engaging participants with age-appropriate, evidence-based information
  • Supporting outreach and community engagement activities
  • Ensuring compliance with policies on data protection, safety, and quality
  • Participating in audits, training, and professional development
  • Accurate data entry and reporting
Qualifications & Experience:
  • AFN registered degree in Nutrition or HCPC registered degree in dietetics
  • Experience in group-based behaviour change interventions
  • Caseload management experience and content creation skills
  • Proven professional development in health coaching
  • Experience working in health, community, or social care environments
Desirable Skills:
  • Health coaching qualification or skills programme
  • Experience with long-term health conditions and community settings
Competencies:
  • Understanding of social determinants of health and behaviour change principles
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Effective caseload management and digital literacy
  • Commitment to personal development and flexible working hours
