Salary: £39,500 + Competitive Bonus

Working pattern: Hybrid – full‑time, part‑time and home‑based
About the role
As a Nurse Functional Assessor at Maximus, you'll use your clinical expertise to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life. You’ll work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions, and chronic pain disorders, and your compassion and experience helps customers move forward with their lives.
Responsibilities
- Carry out clinical reviews and advise case managers on complaints and enquiries in connection with PIP referrals
- Handle complaints and enquiries from customers, representatives (including welfare rights groups & MPs) and DWP
- Provide outcomes and feedback on all complaints about healthcare professionals, used for professional development and overall business improvements
- Maintain detailed and accurate reports and documentation
Requirements
- Valid NMC registration number
- At least 1 year of broad post‑registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside the NHS
- Right to work in the UK – sponsorship not available
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
