About the role
As a Nurse Functional Assessor at Maximus, you will use your clinical expertise to evaluate how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will manage complex cases involving physical, mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders, and support customers to move forward with their lives.
Duties and responsibilities
The role requires carrying out clinical reviews, providing case managers with advice regarding complaints and enquiries linked to PIP referrals, and producing outcomes and feedback that inform professional development and business improvement.
Requirements
- Valid NMC registration number
- At least 1 year of broad post‑registration adult or mental health experience within or outside the NHS
- Right to work in the UK – no sponsorship offered
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable using computer software for typing and detailed report production
