We are seeking an Intune Administrator to join a team responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring and support of software packaging and delivery. The primary responsibilities include software packaging, client testing, script creation, inventory/reporting and application deployments through Intune for both the UK and US environments. The successful candidate will deploy and implement enhancements to improve reliability, maintainability and performance of the systems.
Responsibilities
- Apply monthly security updates and patches to endpoints using Microsoft Intune in alignment with organisational policies.
- Design, develop, test and deploy custom software packages based on client or departmental requirements.
- Provide high-level operational support on a 24/7 basis, acting as escalation for endpoint-related issues.
- Architect and refine operational processes to support and maintain an enterprise environment of 50,000+ Entra ID-joined endpoints.
- Manage timely deployment of patches, critical updates and service packs in compliance with Information Security standards.
- Create and maintain systems documentation, including standard operating procedures and operational playbooks.
- Conduct comprehensive compliance assessments to ensure endpoint configurations meet Maximus Information Security policies.
- Collaborate weekly with cross-functional IT teams to ensure cohesive endpoint management and strategic alignment.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and Intune-based solutions for automated software installations, updates and removals.
- Ensure proper configuration, optimisation and ongoing maintenance of the Microsoft Intune environment.
- Partner with network teams to troubleshoot and resolve content distribution and communication issues.
- Maintain regular communication with support teams regarding workstation management, issue resolution, and application performance.
- Enforce and uphold standards for application packaging, desktop configurations, and operating system patching.
- Implement and support security policies, respond to audit requests and resolve permission-related issues.
- Collaborate with systems administrators to enhance operational efficiency and improve infrastructure standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Degree level or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Intermediate level experience troubleshooting technical issues and diagnosing root cause of issues.
- Significant Intune knowledge and experience in managing a large-scale Enterprise environment with multiple Domains.
- Proactive, methodical, and thorough approach to operations management.
- Excellent ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to work independently to objectives and manage multiple high priority initiatives in parallel.
- Customer and user focused, with the ability to understand and manage stakeholder goals and priorities across multiple Business Divisions.
- Flexible and pragmatic attitude, with the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.
- Excellent influencing of peers, senior executives, customers and partners in delivering operational priorities.
