About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to become an NCMP Coordinator. We are looking for a passionate and empathetic person to support the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP). This role will include calling families that have taken part in the NCMP and encourage them to access our free healthy lifestyle programmes. You will be a connector within the delivery team, to link families who are looking for support within the programmes we are running across local community services and professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Call families who receive an above healthy weight NCMP letter
- Discuss how they feel about receiving the letter
- Have sensitive and perhaps tough conversations with parents regarding their child’s weight
- Discuss the support available in the local community and talk through the services we provide and if families would like support, book them into the system and send confirmation/welcome packs, as well as share any relevant resources with families
- Update system with communications with families
- Manage family profiles on the CRM
- Manage the NCMP data
- Understand the community support available for families
- Support the delivery team on asset mapping of local services
- Meet with local partners and stakeholders to update on our services
- Any other requirements for the business
What we are looking for
- Level 4 in office admin, diploma in office admin or equivalent
- Experience of working in a public health environment
- Experience of working in a customer facing role
- Experience and competence in using a data management system
- Experience of inputting and processing data
- Experience of managing customer concerns or issues
- Experience of working remotely
- Experience in communicating information with other teams
- An understanding of the stages of behaviour change
- A personable, non-judgmental and sensitive approach to communicating with the public
- IT literate especially excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent organisational skills to manage and prioritise workload, anticipate needs and work on own initiative and as part of a high functioning team
- Confident, self motivated, passionate, flexible and adaptable
- Able to respond positively to new situations
- Methodical with the ability to understand and meet targets and deadlines, able to learn and assimilate new information.
- Ability to reflect and appraise own performance and that of others
